Iron Man Tony Stark to sponsor Formula D car[w vid

Of all the fictitious captains of industry and superheroes ever to grace the silver screen buy herve leger, Tony Stark’s got to be one of our favorites. Why? Well aside from flying around the world in his super-suit and kickin’ terrorist butt, he’s also a hardcore car guy. Just look at the Audi R8, Saleen S7 and the poor old Shelby Cobra he nearly ruined in the first episode. Now the sequel is almost upon us, and Tony is taking to the track in a Stark Industries-sponsored single-seater. (See for yourself in the trailer after the jump.) But though the company and its eponymous chief may be fictitious, that won’t stop them from actually sponsoring a real race car of their own.
As you can see from the photo above, Iron Man 2 will be sponsoring Stephan Verdier’s Crawford Performance-prepped Subaru Impreza in this season’s Formula Drift series. That’s nothing new: Movies, superhero movies especially, often sponsor racing teams. (Just check out David Coulthard on the podium in a superman cape or Jarno Trulli riding the bat-pod to see what we mean.) But if you look closer, you’ll see the Stark logo on the quarter-panel. So while we wait to see Stark’s on-screen heroics in the upcoming movie buy herve leger, we can enjoy Verdier’s on-track heroics in Formula D as well. Top Tip, Andy!

As a fellow E36 owner (non-M) buy herve leger, my heart momentarily stopped when Mike S. sent us this link to BimmerForums, where one member had a close encounter of the multi-spoke kind while driving down I-880 near San Jose, CA. The wheel apparently fell off another vehicle going in the opposite direction on the freeway, hit the center divider and flew into the air buy herve leger, landing with a tremendous amount of force onto the roof of kpipalldaway2’s incredibly clean M3. Judging by the lack of damage to the rest of the vehicle, he was able to pull off the road safely, but even more amazingly, he only suffered a broken shoulder and some cuts from the broken glass. While it’s sad to see such a pristine example destroyed by such a gaudy piece of rolling stock, it gets worse. The M3 driver was on a basketball scholarship and his broken shoulder may have put an end to his game days.

Drew Barrymore Created Music Video Role For Chloe Moretz
Drew Barrymore was ecstatic when Chloe Moretz agreed to star as the lead in her music video for Best Coast – because she wrote the role especially for the teenager.
Barrymore had the Kick-Ass star in mind when she came up with an idea for the promo for the Los Angeles band’s track Our Deal.
And Moretz’s performance was so impressive, Barrymore was moved to tears as she shot the emotional video, which also features Miranda Cosgrove.
Barrymore explains, “I wrote this for Chloe and luckily she said yes. I really want to tell so many different types of stories, but I always want to make it personal. So I feel really connected to these young ladies I get to work with; I’m dancing around with them and playing music for them….
“I love when someone’s smiling or crying and it’s real. I can tell when an actor’s forcing tears, and it’s tricky because you then have to film it and edit it in a certain way to skirt around the issue. But with Chloe it was a total blessing because she really did get into it and she’s so capable of going there. I was right there next to her, crying with her.
“When we were sitting there crying I was like, ‘This is so awesome! This is everything I was hoping for!’”
